Yup, interesting stuff but hard to get ahold of. I've still got some Aguila IQ, kinda sorta similar, I bought for evaluation purposes a while ago. If I knew they were going to ban it I would have stocked up.

AP bans are another classic farce, very easy to DIY if you aren't worried about the law and the ATF can't even figure out that .308 isn't a pistol round.:withstupi

Another reason I'm dying to get a 6.5x39 AK built.

RBCD,
Yep, that's what I thought. Old news, by at least two years, which is how long I've had some.

Rev, it's EASY to get a hold of. Call them up, give them your credit card # and they will ship you pretty much any volume you require.

Be REALLY PREPARED for sticker shock though. Something like $2 A ROUND, regardless the caliber plus s&h (quantity discounts are available). I have some in .38 Spl that sits right next to several boxes of Hydrashock.

OH, and their boxes are ONLY 20 rounds to the box. At least that's what my .38 Spl came packaged in. So be prepared for sticker shock. So it was $40 something a box to my door. For that kind of money, I can purchase a LOT of other quality ammo. Not that theirs isn't good stuff. IT IS. But for the money...

If you are hunting 'mutant zombies', it might not be a bad idea to have a few boxes on hand.

wallew I know you dont give a crap bout this but I doubt this product would sell well to a jury if you had actually used it on somebody in self defense

or is this strictly self offense? lol

LeMas Ltd./RBCD "Blended Metal Technology (BMT)" ammo is currently only available to verified and authorized military and law enforcement personnel for official use. If you are Mil/LE, and would like to learn more about or acquire some of the most advanced special-purpose ammunition currently being made, you can contact Stan Bulmer by phone at 509-951-4968, or via email at VMOMAX@LeMasLTD.com. You can also contact Stan's associate, John Hamilton, by phone at 501-960-5847, or via email at VNE@LeMasLtd.com. If you or organization have specific ammunition performance needs that your current ammunition can't solve, DefRev is confident that the boys at Le Mas can change all that.

Seems there might be a lot of marketing BS with these:

LeMas unVailed--the Truth at last!

Re: High Tech Ammo

Seems to me like SOMEONE went to a lot of TROUBLE to debunk what RBCD ammo will or will not do.

They talk about all sorts of scientific tests, but you NEVER see the rounds FIRED in the TEST. Which is EXACTLY what they should be doing.

Not saying this guy is correct or not. I have friends who have used this ammo in the sand box (contractors, not USMIL) and they say they have had 'consistent' results similar to what RBCD says.

It IS amazing that the guy who is debunking this stuff goes ON and ON and ON about the science.

HELL MAN, shut up. SHOOT THE STUFF. SHOW US THE RESULTS.

He just DID NOT do that. I wonder why that is???

Oh, and regards to 'ONLY AVAILABLE' to LEO and military. I had a phone conversation with one of the people there TODAY (4/23) and they didn't ask ME if I was or was not LEO or military. They were willing to take my order RIGHT THEN over the phone with a valid CC #. I passed, as I already have some. And given the costs involved, I'll probably just stock up on some Black Talon or some more Hydrashock.

OH, and about 'in a court of law'... type of discussions regarding this ammo. As far as I'm concerned, this and any OTHER specialty ammo I have stays in the box until SHTF, then a court case ain't in my MOS. Otherwise, it's strictly FMJ or ball ammo for all my shooting needs. Besides, if I AM involved in a shooting and it comes to court, there will be ONLY ONE WITNESS to the shooting. ME. Take me at my word or not, but I AM the only person who will have a story to tell.
